Lynne Young - Health and Wellness Coach
I am a national Board- Certified Health and Wellness Coach specializing in nutrition and lifestyle coaching. My focus is on helping each family transistion to healthier ways of eating, by combining their family lifestyle and habits to achieve goals. I use an individualized approach in helping families work through the challenges of cravings, picky eating, sensory issues, and more to create a healthy plan. Food can be both nurturing and nutritious, so creating a plan that fits into each child's individual lifestyle and culture helps to make the changes sustainable.
My background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness with an emphasis on nutritioin. In addition to this my studies include several coaching and culinary certifications. My nutrition and culinary background give me the ability to both educate children and their families on healthy eating and to give creative ideas for implementing these changes into their daily lives. This education provides children and their families with the ability to create wholesome delicious recipes, use healthy cooking methods, and supports meal planning consistent with each child and family's preferences. I truly relish guiding and supporting families in reaching their optimal health while making it an enjoyable way of life so the whole family can thrive.
Personal fun facts: When I'm not working with our children and families, I can be found biking, looking for my next rails-to-trails ride adventure, kayaking, or in the kitchen creating a new fun recipe to share.
