Dr. Karen H. Harum has practiced developmental medicine for over 14 years and has special expertise in the neuroscience of learning and autism.

Dr. Harum is a graduate of the University of Miami and Stetson University. She received pediatric training at the University of Miami and training in her subspecialty of neuro-developmental disabilities at Johns Hopkins University and the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Dr. Harum and Clinic for Special Children were originally located in New Bern, NC through mid-2006 and relocated to Wilmington, NC in late 2006.
